FIGHT CLUBS
Jesus fought, died, and rose from the grave to destroy the enemies of God and bring reconciliation to His people. We are in the midst of a spiritual war, and we are called to be a part of the fight (Ephesians 6:10-18). Gospel believers are commanded to fight for truth, for each other, and for joy, and to fight against sin, Satan, and the powers of hell. The good news is that God does not ask us His followers to fight this battle alone.
One way Calvary Familia joins the battle is through small groups of two to three people called Fight Clubs. These groups are gender-specific, and Fight Clubs either include all male or all female groups. Fight Club partners vulnerably connect with one another to fight sin and push each other to trust in the promises of Jesus. These partners read scripture together, pray for the lost, and purposefully seek to weave unbelieving friends into daily life and mission.
